You may have noticed the various quotes at the top of each page on this website. Please take those to heart. We do. We appreciate our Friends and all you do.
One of the most important steps you can take to support the Friends of the North Carolina Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped is to join. Membership is a small commitment that provides the Friends with funds to support our programs. By joining our cause, you give meaning to the word "Friends" and boost our many efforts aimed at providing the best services to the blind and physically handicapped in North Carolina.
When our roles swell, our hearts swell too.
You can volunteer. Please visit our Volunteer Opportunity page for a brief list of all the volunteer projects going on at the Library at any time. Additionally, the Board would love to hear from you with suggestions for fundraisers and offers of assistance for other special events and projects.
Donations are always appreciated. Your donations enable us to enhance the Library's services. Any donation above and beyond your membership dues is used wisely. Offer to sponsor an event and we’ll be glad to promote your business to our members.
Finally, tell people about the Friends. Tell your friends and family members about the services at the Library if they are losing their vision or have become unable to read regular print. Spread the word that we are here for anyone who needs us.
Tell everyone about the work being done by the Friends. Share your friends with us. Tell them about this website and the ease with which you can donate to the good works we do and get a tax write-off for your generosity.
